From now through December 30, 2020, Rakuten users who sign up and spend $40 will get $40 back into their accounts. So that's basically $40 in FREE shopping!
If you're not familiar with Rakuten, it's a rebate shopping site (formerly known as Ebates) -- so you use it like you would a search engine, to find and shop deals. Then you get paid rebates back quarterly on what you've purchased.
I have personally earned over 5 grand cash back through my Rakuten/Ebates account, so it's definitely worth using when they run promos like this!
So here's a deal to consider if your family likes the Book of Free and/or Fiesta Texas tickets:
First things first -- go here to register for your free Rakuten (formerly known as Ebates) account.
From the Rakuten homepage, search for Groupon and click through to the website so your purchase will be recorded. You'll receive 8% cash back on your purchase right now!
Once you've clicked through to the Groupon site, search for the Book of Free offer as seen in the screenshot below.
Choose the second option, good for a Book of Free Savings Book + two General Admission Tickets to Fiesta Texas. Pay $49 out of pocket for all three items.
NOTE: The Fiesta Texas tickets are valid to use through December 31, 2020, and then the Book of Free is good throughout 2021!
But remember, if you're a new Rakuten user, you'll receive your $40 bonus into your account after making your first $40 purchase or more! NOTE: Your bonus will be available for pay out at the end of the earning quarter.
That means your book + your Fiesta Texas tickets works out to just $9 -- or $3 per item!
Now, if you're like me and you already have a Rakuten account, you won't get that $40 bonus for signing up. You'll just receive your items for $49, then receive your 8% cash back into your Rakuten account.
That's basically getting everything for $45.08 -- which is less than just ONE ticket to Fiesta Texas on its own! So it's still an excellent deal.
