If you bought select Almond Breeze almondmilk, almondmilk creamer, nog, or yogurt alternatives between April 15, 2014 through May 17, 2021, you may be entitled to up to $20 cash back as part of a new class action lawsuit settlement announced recently. You can see the whole list of included products here. Almond Breeze products are carried at most major grocery stores, including Target, Walmart, and HEB, as well as at Amazon and other online retailers.
The lawsuit claimed select Almond Breeze products were marketed using the phrase 'Vanilla with other natural flavors", leading customers to believe that the flavor came from real vanilla.
Almond Breeze has denied any wrongdoing in connection with this lawsuit, but has made a settlement of $2.6 million in order to pay the class action claims.
Shoppers with proof of purchase (i.e. receipts) can receive up to $1 back for each product purchased, with a maximum of 20 products allowable in your claim.
Shoppers who have purchased Almond Breeze in the past but didn't save their receipts (that's me, I use their almondmilk in smoothies) can receive up to 50 cents back for each product purchased, again with a maximum of 20 products allowed.
You do need to file your claim before November 23, 2021, and you can choose to receive your reimbursement through PayPal, Venmo, or by physical check mailed to your address.
